SCAAP is an NGO which works with smallholder farmers in Tanzania to improve their living standards through improvement in agriculture and rural enterprises
SCAAP stands for Southern Corridor Alliance of Agriculture producers. It is farmers focused NGO based in Mbeya city. The organization is registered in Tanzania with a registration No.OONGO/R2/000367.
The organization was registered on 14th August, 2019 though it was formed in 2018. SCAAP major objective is to reduce rural poverty and promote environmental sustainability in marginalized rural communities.
Vision
We envision a Tanzanian society free of hunger and poverty where people live and enjoy a healthy life.
Mission
SCAAP works to promote smallholder farmers in Tanzania by building their capacities to engage into profitable sustainable agricultural enterprises, advance their cause for policy change, research and support their organizations to grow.
